Returning to Canada with a Visitor - Business Visa

Hi all,

I have a Visitor - Business Visa and this April will be my 6th month of stay, so I will be leaving Canada to go back to Germany. My question is, how soon can I go back to Canada? My company is planning on sending me back to do an assembly supervision, same as what I did during my stay.

Any information will be appreciated.

Orhers can comment but Not sure what you mean by assembly supervision but if that was considered in any way hands on work then a business visa would not be any good you should have a work permit.

No, I am not doing manual work, just answering technical related questions, making reports, and joining meetings.
Also when I first arrive here in Canada, I gave all supporting documents to the Immigration Officer and was allowed to enter Canada. Now, my concern is how many days/weeks/months should I stay out of Canada before I can go back with the same Visitor - Business Visa, and same purpose of entry.

I was given 6months max duration of stay by the immigration officer, but at first I spent 2months here, then went on vacation outside Canada for around 7weeks, then right now I am back to Canada until mid of April. When I leave and come back, maybe it will be for 3months, but could be max 6months.

Would you mind sharing more information about how you got your business visa approved for 6 months? What details did you provide to the visa officer other than "just answering technical related questions, making reports, and joining meetings"? Thanks
