Confusion in Course Duration

In my offer letter, its showing duration from Sept 2020 to May 2021. When I contact college, they are saying its one year course. So, I am confused whether its one year or only 8 months course?

Think of it this way. If you apply for PGWP after this program only it will be 8 months, if you apply after back-to-back 8 month programs then it will be 3 years.

Question : if the course is 3 consecutive semesters, is that gonna be 18 months? Since 8 months is considered as 1 year by most colleges?

If the program takes 24 months with breaks or 16months consequetively without breaks, it qualifies for 3 year pgwp

i understand u said this on basis of 24 months..bt they said 3 sessions 12 months and for 6 sessions 24 months...can i do 24 months course in 16 months

I don't know, does the school allow it? Accelerated studies is tricky, you should look at the CIC website and check. If you study continuously without break it is possible
