visit visa for government servant

I have a query, it would be appreciated if anyone can advise.

I am Government servant in Pakistan (Permanent Employee of Government of Pakistan) i want to visit to Canada.
1. Is there any separate category for such class of people, applying for visit visa? If yes,what's that category?
2. Is it fruitful to mention Government servant? Any complexities that may come up while declaring as Govt. employee throughout the process?
3. how can i start my process to Canada.

2. It doesn't really matter. What is important to show is that you have strong ties to your home country (e.g. job, assets, property) and have no plans on remaining in Canada long term.
