Yes I did and they send back the OWP
Application to me to send it to a next office in Edmonton. My husband sponsor me
Ahh ok then, then you need to wait a little longer for a reply. As I think the time of when you send it back resets how long you have to wait for it.

My wife applied for her OWP on the 13th of December. She is currently on a Study permit and her study will finish in April 2020. She already applied for PR(family class, submitted 8th of October) and the OWP is based on that. Although we applied separately for PR and OWP by mail.
My worry is whether the processing for OWP will finish before her current study period. We applied early as we are planning to visit back home in July and she won't have any valid status then. Are they going to hold it or reject the application?
I would really appreciate your help and suggestion.

So, wondering if anyone else is waiting for an interview letter from the Etobicoke office or already has an appointment? Curious about the time lapse between DM notification and receipt of the interview invite.

Received SA & AIP on 12 Dec, DM on 18 Dec, but not a peep since (and I have been checking my spam folder). Weds it will be four weeks. Should I be worried? I can't find any reference to what the maximum waiting period might be. And of course no specific contact information...

Date application received 11 June
ROA 19 July
OWP 5 Oct
Med invite 7 Nov, exam 29 Nov
SA & AIP 12 Dec
DM 18 Dec

Is there a minimum time period for which my spouse has to reside in Canada to apply for an inland sponsorship?

No, but you need to have been here long enough to get documents together showing you live together. That takes about 2-3 weeks minimum.

You can enter Canada with dual intent, entering as a visitor with a view to stay, but you need to declare that on entry and in itself is fraught with risk. You cannot ensure the CBSA officer you speak till will grant you entry.

I would give them a call. That's a while to be waiting just to set an interview date.
