Yeah I've left and re-entered since it happened and there's been no mention of it.
Even with the massive financial repercussions, I still consider myself lucky I wasn't criminally charged and booted out of the country!
Even as a PR, if you are convicted of a DUI, you can have your status revoked.

Good luck with your process for PR or whatever you decide to do.

Is it 100% correct that IRP is not a criminal offense and it does not have any impact on PR?? Would it matter when you apply for citizenship later? Anyone has true information about it?

So you can get even if you had iRP? i am worried because i have applied for my PR and i m scared if it will effect my application in any way? Is there anyone who got PR after having IRP?

I got an IRP in 2017. I became a PR in 2019. No issues.

Just to add a note. I also talked to ICBC. They also said its not a criminal activity and it wont show up anywhere. However i am appealing for review. Crossing finger.

I didn't appeal or dispute anything. I definitely had no grounds to do that

Hi Guys

i need your help. i saw previous questions and I'm praying that i will be fine. I'm from Uk (and I'm on ETA here) and i got IRP last night for 3 days while driving Evo .
I'm leaving canada in few months and would like to come back, do you think they can turn me around and won't let me into kannada because of it. Im scared because i know they don't let even american people into canada if they have DUI.

I didn't appeal or dispute anything. I definitely had no grounds to do that

Sorry to bother you again. Did you only get to attend class or did they also give you inter lock program? I lost my dispute. I am waiting for letter that will state if i have to attend class or interlock?
