Pre arrival letter and decision made

After you entering canada it will take 45 days to 3 month to get your PR card. The PR card they will send your designated address in Canada. You can re enter to Canada any time when you get the PR card.
However you can return to UAE after two/three weeks. But before that you have to ensure that someone should receive your PR card in Canada and sent to you in UAE through DHL or Fedex. It would be better if you go back to UAE after receiving the PR card.

Thanks for your reply. As i told you I cannot quit my job right now. To wrap up things here in UAE would take lil time for me. And if i took that time i wouldn't be able to enter Canada on time. That's why m getting worried. I hope there will be no prob if i can come back after 2 3 weeks. My wife would be in Canada to collect my PR anyways.

It is almost 15 working days since the Decision made updated on Portal but no passport request yet......Anyone facing the same issue ???

myself facing same issue. Decision made updated on 24 dec but no further communication yet.

I’m also facing the same scenario. Got decision made on ecase at the last week of December but no passport request yet.

I got pre arrival letter on 3rd of dec 2019. still I am waiting for my PPR .. how long will it take for PPR after pre arrival letter?

No one can say.

Basically while getting the pre-arrival letter is a good sign that the file is progressing, it does not seem to be a consistent indicator of how quickly the PPR might come.

I'm comparing to, say, time elapsed between 'decision made' for the PA and date of receipt of the PPR, which is usually relatively short.
