Hello everyone, please I need your advice on Saskatchewan international skilled workers nominee program (SINP)
My question is, I have been actively working since 2005 in public service before I went to study MBA abroad. I returned back in November 2013 to start a new position in a private company for 8months (less than 1 year) as HR officer which I think does not count been less than one year.

Afterwards, I got a full time employment with Private companies as HR officer in September 2014 with minimum of 1 year plus .I have climbed the position of HR manager in my present occupation, making total employment years to be 5 years.

Please my question is, I worked in Uk in a reputable organisation for 2 years as database administrator officer which also cut across Admin/operations etc till October 2013 before I returned back to Nigeria.

Can I add the 2 years work experience in UK as databases administrator with my 5 years HR experience in Nigeria to claim 7 years prior to submission of application as stated in Saskatchewan requirements ?

PLEASE NOTE: I am not adding the years of my experience in public service from 2005 to 2010 because I went to study which gave a gap in my work experience.

Please your advice would be appreciated. My Saskatchewan score is 65 points for now. Base on the analysis above.

Hello

Based on what I know, as of now, anyone who has worked in Manitoba in any occupation for at least 6 months can apply for MPNP. This is going to change to minimum of 1 year work experience soon. However as per the link below the previous 6 month rule is still in effect and anouncement will be made 1 month prior when the changes are complete.

I still encourage your friend to go and talk to them directly as I did it myself and they answered all my questions. Their office is located at:

Reasons:
Application guidelines that can be found on www.immigratemanitoba.com clearly indicate that the Manitoba
Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP) may not approve an application if the program officer is not satisfied
that the applicant meets the MPNP criteria. Specifically, you did not receive points for the regional immigration
assessment factor because you were unable to demonstrate your connection to your declared regional
destination in Manitoba.
Based on the documents you submitted in your application, the individual supporting your Settlement Plan
resides in Winnipeg, MB. In response to the Procedural Fairness Letter issued on October 16, 2019, you did
not provide any documentation or information to support your family or social ties to Winkler nor did you
clearly outline how you would establish yourself in Winkler. As a result, 50 points were deducted from your
EOI score and your revised total EOI points no longer meet the required score for Draw #56. Therefore, you
did not meet the minimum eligibility requirements of the MPNP. As a result, your application for nomination by
the Province of Manitoba cannot be approved. Please note that there might be other issues with your
application but since you do not meet one of core eligibility requirements, your application is now closed.
