the marriage certificate should be good enough, however, you should check the country specific requirements in case they need something else or if you need to send the originals.

When you did an online payment, you got a receipt (PDF file). A number inside it is your receipt number. You can use it to check ecas.

I check and nothing populates, I guess that means they have not started to work on my application yet ? I saw some people in the tracker get AOR1 in like 15days , I was hoping to be the same ;(

that’s why that tracker can be a problem. watching everyone get to the next step and you’re stuck behind can stress a person out. I’m considering whether or not to participate in doing that to be honest. Not sure I can take the stress myself.

Yes I’m super stressed ! I know the process is long and I’m fine with that , I’m just more concerned that I’ve done everything right and all my documents is correct !

If you can't find your application on ecas that means they didn't start working on it yet, you're right. Most often AOR comes around the same time as the application shows up on ecas.

once the medical examination is done do we have to upload anything On the Gckey account ? Or do we have to just wait for the hospital to send the reports to CIC ? Can someone throw some light please

from my understanding you do not need to do anything , the hospital will sendS the information

A physician will upload the results to cic if they have an electronic system (in most cases they do) and then you won't have to do anything. If they don't they'll inform you and you'll know.

AOR - Dec 27. Tracker updated.

Didn't receive any email but showed up when I enter my details to check my Citizenship application status on CIC website. This sponsorship application is showed up there stating they started processing it on Dec 27.

I then linked that application to my wife (PA)'s online account.

Whats your time line please share

HOw did you send your app to them? There should be a tracking number unless you sent it via regular post.

People are getting AOR1 quickly recently, 3 weeks or so. BUT the normal time can be up to 2 months, so be patient, if you get it earlier than that it is a bonus. Follow the tracking page to see when people are getting their AOR in relation to your application date.
