Hi,

My name is Nitin and presently based out of Hyderabad India. I am presently exploring full-time MBA education programs in Canada. I have almost 9 years of experience working as Associate Manager in a Research and Consulting role for one of the U.S company supporting their back-office function.

I wanted to transition to strategy and consulting front-facing role, for which I feel an international education can help me in filling my skill and education requirements

I have an average academic profile:
X- 52% (CBSE), XII - 56%, B.com- 57% and PGDM - 64%

I know Canada schools are very concerned with GPA scores.

I wanted to your guidance can i apply to MBA program in Canada with decent GMAT+Professional experience.

Please guide.

Regards,
Nitin Chauhan

Yes. Honestly as an international student you can often have lower marks because of the funds you pay as an international student. Would only advise going for an MBA If it has a decent program. There are some MBA programs that will not be recognized by Canadian employers. For example I would stay away from CanadaWest, VIU, FDU, TRU and might be missing one more.
