Can i sponsor my partner who is currently back home through common law? Ive got my resident status through my mòthers sponsorship and i met this guy back home after i got permanent resident of Canada. Question 1, can i sponsor him through common law, as i gonna change my status from single to Common law?

Have you lived together in a "marriage-like" relationship for at least one continuous year?

unfortunately no, theres no chance as we move to Canada by the time were on the relationship and now i want to declare him as my common law. is that feasible to do?

No - it's not feasible at this time. You can't declare him as a common law partner until you have lived together for at least one year continuously.

If you lived together for a year continuously AFTER you got PR, then it's fine. If you lived together for a year continuously BEFORE you got PR, that's a problem.

Assuming that you lived together for a year afteryou got PR, then you can sponsor him as your common law partner as long as you are living in Canada and as long as you meet the residency requirement.

You also don’t seem to be compliant with your RO. The good news is it appears that you did live with him after you landed. Do you have proof that you lived together for 1 continuous year? Bills at the address? ID at the address?

You already mentioned you were living together three years together PRIOR to you arriving into Canada . This would appear to be problematic

Actually think they are ok as it seems OP landed in 2015. If the couple were living together for over 1 year before 2015 that would be different. Did you live together for a year before 2015 when you landed?
