Hi

My partner is a PR in Canada. I want to visit Canada as a visitor. I am from Latin America. I am a student and I have no job right now. My partner did visit me this year to my home country and is willing to pay for my duration in Canada, they do have a JOB and can afford my entire trip for 2 weeks. But I have never visited another country only Mexico. Also I know they might ask me as I have no job if I will return but I do have the intention of returning as I am still studying.

I have emailed the embassy they just send me a link where to apply. But I am worried about rejection.


PLEASE HELP OUT AS I AM NOT VERY SURE OF ALL THE PROCESS AND REQUIREMENTS.

What do you mean by partner? It is going to be difficult to get a visa since they want to see you have ability to support yourself and have good financial & career ties to you home country.

You should request a trip of 2-3 weeks at most. It would be best if you can show a bank balance and prove you can pay for the entire trip on your own rather than relying on your partner. You wan to show ties to your home country. Since you cannot show employment, provide a letter from your school confirming your enrollment and also make sure you pay for your next semester's tuition in advance (and include proof in the application that you have done this).
 
Are you Mexican? If so you just need an ETA but you may be questioned about your ability to support yourself in Canada. A return ticket will be 8 portent.

It would be better if you had the money yourself to pay for the trip. However if you don't, then you will have to rely on your sister to be the sponsor.
