Dear Forum Member,

I have two questions not sure if anyone knows the answers please.

1. I have five years of overseas working experiences as a financial auditor with Two different exmployers and now I am thinking of applying jobs in Canada as an accountant. I understand both of them fall under NOC code 1111.

Therefore would I be able to use these experiences for my EE application in the future, even on the basis that they are different types of jobs in nature?

2. I am thinking of applying the open work permit via the International Experience Canada (IEC) and to get enough working experiences in Canada. When I am qualified to apply for EE in the future, do I have to go back to my home country to submit the application or can I do that in Canada? Reason for asking is the IEC programme requires the candidate to confirm if they will be going back home after the completion of this programme.

Thanks very much,
Jack

You can

You can submit your application in Canada

Thank you for your reply. What if I change my job to code 1112, i.e., investment analyst in Canada, would I still be able to claim on the EE application that I have six years working experience in total (5 years as a financial auditor and 1 year as an investment analyst)?
