You can ask, but they want to make sure they get full class and get full money so if they have other students with visa already they would prefer them.

I already have paid Full fees and have a quite strong profile. York is on holidays from 20th dec-2nd jan. I will try request them.

Right but if you dont start this semester it means your seat will possibly be empty and they will miss out on those fees even worse if you dont come at all they will miss fees of entire course. So that money you paid is not theirs until you actually secure a visa & refund date passes.

According to me and the visa consultancy company i am applying from, My visa is 100% confirmed. It may be delayed but cannot be refused on any ground. How can i convince york university to reserve my seat.

Nothing is 100% Confirmed and Guarantee when it comes to Canadian immigration.

Email York international center and let them know about your situation and see what they say.
I hope you will get your visa before 20 December.

Good Luck!

Visa is never 100% confirmed. There are always possible grounds for refusal.

Since you submitted your application late, it's possible IRCC may tell you that you need to defer your studies to the next semester. Guess you'll just have to wait and see.

As for your university, all you can do is ask that they hold your spot. However as others have said, they may not be willing to do this since there's no guarantee you will be able to fill this seat and the program may be in high demand.
