Hi is it okay to ask financial support from my parents to apply for a International student. I am currently working in Saudi for 4 years and I am a single parent and now I decided to apply In Canada as a student. Am I consider as dependent once I become a or apply as a student? Thanks for your reply

You are not considered dependent, some people say it goes from being 18-23 not later than that, especially when you have kids of your own. What you can do however is proof your own income if you work, and then on top of that, you can try attaching a paper stating that your parents will be responsible for your fees and attach their funds, such as their bank statements, properties, and so on. Also, keep in mind that if you're above the age of 30 it gets even harder. Now look, I am not saying it's impossible I really do hope your application ends up being accepted because I have seen cases such as this getting accepted, you just need to put everything in, include everything that you can possibly think of and most importantly your SOP should be done very detailed and well.
Best of luck!

Hi Mohamed thats what I was about to say I do have my savings and I going to show them my salary as proof of income and I don’t think that it would be enough as proof of financial for the immigration so I’m planning to include my parents bank statement and some of their properties. What Do you think is the best to show on top As proof of financial?

Make sure to include all the properties not just some, you should try hard to impress them and not leave a single thing that they might question. You see I was rejected the first time I applied and it cost me a semester gone to learn my mistakes, I applied the second time and it got accepted. One of the many important things you should take care of is the bank statement (in this case your parents) and how there shouldn't be anything questionable in it AND the money is being used and more is coming into it as well.
If you dont mind me asking, what is your nationality and basically what is your profile like? I mean education and what you want to pursue and so on.
