don't worry bro, you have highest chances for approval since it took longer than normal time, if IRCC want to reject, they would have done it during eligibility check, but I guess you are stuck in Background check, if so unless anything caught up in background check, definitely you will get the visa.
Believe me , all refusal happen maximum by 1 and half month since applied if IRCC want to reject, check the entire forum for refusal cases, all happened within the timeline i mentioned
Let me know what does your background check status in your account shows.

IRCC begins background check only if you passed eligibility check for TRV ..
InshAllaha brother I hope decision come positive. Thanks alot

How does one know if eligibility check is over? I applied 17th Sep, Biometrics 1st Oct. It says we are checking eligibility in the status. Will this status change once they are done?

Any recent approvals you may have heard of?

if your background check started after eligibility check, then you eligibility check is complete, however please note that you can't see this complete status until you receive PPR. what does your background status shows???

and you will receive ghost updates once eligibility check completed and you should see background check started

It says "we are reviewing whether you meet the eligibility requirements"

"We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information"

No ghost updates as of yet.

No nee

No need to sad and surprise, it’s very common these days for Pakistani applicants and people with such profile. I suggest you request the GCMS notes and reapply you will get the visa hopefully.
Received my refusal letter yesterday

here it is
I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay as a temporary resident, as stipulated in paragraph 179(b) of the IRPR, based on the purpose of your visit.

I don't agree with that, they can refuse and approve in anytime there is no such criteria.

if you don't agree, it is neither my problem, nor ircc officer, this conclusion from my research throughout the forum and the other sites,
Whatever I am also concluding here is also based on my personal research and experience. So you can't say that IRCC is keeping your case for more then1 and half month then your chances are even.I appreciate your research and confidence but none of us here works for IRCC and neither have any influence on the outcome of any visa application.

think positive and you will win, average life time of a person is 60 years, if you didn't get the Canada visa doesn't mean you will not die, let's enjoy the life in our beautiful countries prior to that ;):(:)o_O
