Express Entry - Work Experience & POF

Hi Guys,

Few questions related to work experience and POF

1. I have a full-time job and i take up a few freelancing projects as well. I am not claiming points for freelancing but the amount gets credited to the account that I would be showing for POF. Anyway, this amount can raise questions when I submit my account statements. So what needs to be done? Do I declare it under personal history, or what additional documents do I need to provide.

2. I have the required amount as an applicant in an FD that is over a year old now. Do I need to provide proof of where this amount has come from?

1. It is totally upto you whether you want to add freelancing to your personal history or not, it will not cause any issues. As far as the amount is concerned, it will also not cause any issue, however, you can still explain it in your LOE, that some funds are through freelance projects that you take from time to time just to make some extra quick bucks.

2. If the FD is more than a year old, no proof needed to be uploaded. Just the FD receipt and the bank letter will suffice.
