Thanks Chivinas, one quick question about form IMM0008, for line 10 'current country of residence', how to fill the To date? if I keep living here? just give a future date?
I used the first date I got here and the end date of my work permit.
good, that does make sense, thanks.
Yes, me too! If you stay a few seconds in that cell, it appears a help in the screen that says: "the end date of your immigration status in your current country of residence"

Hi there! I just got my nomination yesterday! I have a question, your input(s) will be highly appreciated!

So, I'll spend the holidays back home and planning to get married so I can include my boyfriend on my PR application. I am not sure if this is feasible, but I really wanted him to come here with me. I started to gather the PR Application forms (for paper-based).

What documents do I need to update in terms of changing my marital status here in Canada when I get back?
I know some of you may say that I need to have a new passport with my married name - but I just got my new passport last September (not married name)

Let me know your thoughts! Thanks in advance!
Congratulations on your nomination!
Regarding your question, if you see the checklist: https://www.canada.ca/content/dam/ircc/migration/ircc/english/pdf/kits/forms/imm5690e.pdf
they only ask for marriage certificate...
Now, in your case.... you will be getting married after your nomination. I've read in other threads that sometimes the official that assesses your application, could thing that you get married only to give the status to the other person. This is very subjective... but if I were you, I would send additional information to demonstrate that your relationship is genuine: bank accounts in common, lease agreements, whatever you have to help convince the official...

are you talking about paper based or EE? for paper based seems that no need for the verification letter, pay stub for last 5 years should be fine.
for EE, the employment reference should include at least below info:
period of employment; position(s) held with the employer and the time spent in each position; main responsibilities and duties; total annual salary plus benefits; number of hours worked per week.
No. I'm planning on applying for the stream when it reopens in 2020. I haven't reached the approval part yet...

Hey guys! This is a quick question regarding the work experience verification letter. I requested a few verification letters before I left my previous firm a year ago.

The letter they provided me indicated my start and end date and average hours per week (only two info regarding my work duration and hours). I read that numbers of work weeks per year is also required? Did all of your verification letters included this info? Is it a must? Thanks!!
No. I'm planning on applying for the stream when it reopens in 2020. I haven't reached the approval part yet...
You should be able to demonstrate that you worked full time. If the letter doesn't say the total hours, but it has the hours per week and the start and end date, it's easy to make the count, so you don't need the total hours to been written. For example... if you worked for 12 months (which is 52 weeks), 40 hours a week > 52x40= 2080 hours (above 1560 hours a year is considered a full-time job).
My work letters didn't have the total hours but had the total months and hours a week, and I got approved.
I hope this clarifies your doubt.

I don't have the total months, but the start and end date and average hours per week. I was wondering if the total months/number of work weeks per year is also a must to provide because it would be such a pain in the ass to go back to ask for a revision considering I received for the verification a year ago.

My letter has the start and end date too... not the total months

I think who all are already in Canada have got nominations so fast , @phanikiran.kara is in US and I am in India and two more things common to both of us are we both are Indians and we both had additional document requirement from OINP though I hope we both get it soooon. Anyone who is not in Canada has got nomination, please reply.I cannot figure who is not in Canada and has got nomination already.
