Well, well, well. I see lot of sad souls. Cheer up folks. Only 2 possibilities I see here for those who are 450+

1. Get through federal entry by March’20
Or 2. Get through OINP by March’20(just the route will be longer)

So till then have fun, and try to maximise the score by possible means.

132 is ours
I am in pool now with 448 with spouse professional degree both and working on 6316. I know that is so common NOC. ECA says professional degree and evaluated as bachelors but Pharmacy is professional degree in Canada. So do I stand any chance for NOI for OINP or any other province OINP ??

And waiting for NOI is only way for PNP or we can apply through regardless of NOI, I think, I will be eligible for Human capital stream in OINP.

If anybody can please educate me on this. Websites are so confusing.

In my condition and bands it makes difference because my clb is different. That is why it cross 500. And why not equal point for both. I am professional degree holder and will have 2 year of CE. Some people same condition but got 1 year of experience back home and got selected right away in pool. Is it not a discrimination ??? One more thing i read somewhere that Canada already got more than 500K student since EE started. Assume half of them has experience back home then CAnadian experience holders are totally screwed. Then bombarding of PNPs and when somebody want to fart they put FST draw and gap. Now what do they want me to do??? Become Indiana Jones to get PR!!! This is not a fair game anymore.
Get clb 9999 for yourself. You get additional 14 points from Official languages proficiency and extra 12 points on C. Skill transferability factors. That put you even closer to 500 points at 492.

yes sir and CLB 10 will put me even ahead. Believe me I am trying hard to improve my CLB. But my point is why it is not fair for applicants of Canadian experience to get lesser points then 50:50 foreign and canadian experience guys in the pool.

They should rename the program to FYW (federal young workers) from FSW (federal skilled workers). It's clear they prefer young immigrants and give two shyts for 'skilled'. the difference between a 450 and a 470 profile mostly comes down to age.

I understand your frustration completely, I myself am waiting in the pool since February. But we have to realize that this is not about fairness, but about giving the opportunity to certain people that they will benefit from. Of course they will give Canadian experience more points, cause well...these people are already exposed to Canadian work culture and has potential to integrate much better. Also you cannot standardize work quality everywhere...cause some countries are definitely not upto standard (this is me speaking about the work culture in my own home country).
I studied and worked in Germany for a total of 6 years and decided to come back, cause I thought their immigration process was very complicated and was restricting me to act on my professional goals. USA, Australia, NZ and EU countries all have very stringent Immigration laws and processes, so in that case, Canada is really the easiest route imo. Still not saying its easy, but it's more convenient definitely.

People, below 465, and especially below 460, should start looking at improving their score. CRS won't come down anytime soon imo.

If you have time on your side, then go for French. Somebody here had a 425. They learnt French in 6 months. Got 45 points for it and now waiting for ita. I would suggest it's a great option and something worth looking into. It should also open a lot more opportunities in Canada.

468 is max we can reach at this age(without learning French). 471 was lost due to delay by WES. We will be at 466 after December 5th. Just registered for IELTS to make it 468(writing 6.5 sucks, hope to get 7 and 2 points)
Get a professional to give you feedback on ielts writing. I used Joshh Trump. (joshh.trump@gmail.com) he has cheaper fees. I also purchased ielts liz advanced writing videos and bumped my writing scores. Took me from 434 to 469

Did Josh's evaluation help you? I already maxed out on all modules but had 7 in writing in my first attempt without practice.Thinking if i do a little practice i might increase 0.5 and 3 points.

It is high time to leave the the forum for a while and relax. Instead of wasting time here reading mind wobbling predictions, it is better to improve our CRS score. This immigration thing is getting on my nerves now.
LOL believe me I told myself same thing, Ill leave and be back in 6weeks when I'm ready to go in the pool... I lasted about 1hr before checking the thread again.

Its really easy to be anxious but at the end of the day what else can we do except increase scores and hope for the best. Who knows maybe some new laws will come in 2020 that will help

Yes, he is straight forward in his evaluation but ielts liz videos helped me the most. Joshh also commented that less mistakes/ no mistakes = high band score. I took computer format. I didn't have to count my words. The computer did that for me.

I have a question. For express entry application I got employment letter from my current employer in the required cic format alongside getting eca n ielts trf. But the problem is that my score is only 458 and I don't think getting ita anytime soon. Will my employment letter stating my experience of above 7 yrs work at a later time when if suppose I get an ita? Is there a stated guideline regarding letter validity for this? Getting letter from H.R was a mess, I don't want to go thru this again. I can get salary certificates but not fully cic styled employment letter.

That is unbelievable.

I started this project with my husband about a year and a half ago. I am 33 years old. I learned french from scrath. I managed 2 CLB 10 and 2 CLB 9 on IELTS. My aim was around 455 points which was more than enough until a few months ago. Now I am sitting at 460. If I max out french I can get 467 but I would need a few months of hard work and it might not be enough. I feel like I am chasing my own tale trying to improve my score.
Well done. I can understand the amount of efforts you've put in so far. Try

I am the one. The french option is a cool way of improving your crs. Though it's hard trying to learn a new language from scratch, it is achievable and very rewarding. I'm beginning to enjoy the feeling that I can communicate in another language. If you've maxed out ielts and your crs is still low, you should consider the french route. What do you stand to lose? Nothing! On this Canada journey, never say never is the winning slogan.

Age 38, crs rose to 470 from 425 because of french. Awaiting ITA. Spouse's ECA in process too. That should give additional 9points later just in case the scores keep getting high.

You can do this.
