Just got notice (I'm the sponsor for my wife in Colombia) via email that her application has been sent to the Bogota VO for further processing.
She has completed her biometrics & police check recently.
At what point does the app get forwarded in the process? When 'Canada' is done with it?
What happens after it goes to the country office of the applicant?
I know I have 10 months or so of waiting but it's confusing as to who does what from each office.

Wait for medical. After you pass the medical then application moves to Visa office for further background check then eventually you'll receive the request to submit passport.

The app has been sent to the VO already. I anticipate the medical request will come soon after.
My inquiry was to find out from those who know, what happens at each office in regards to checks and what happens at each office. Lots of waiting.

Yes bro, i'm looking at the same time. Accra takes at least 3 months to request for medicals after file transfer.

And got AOR on 05 November then after no update from cic.
I am not able to link my wife application on cic account. Why ? I don't have rep and I filled out all correct information. I tried even 2 as a family members in last column still . Please help

After enrolling my biometrics at the vfs office 2day in Lagos, my gckey account was updated almost immediately to reflect the update. Later in the day, i got an email from vfs saying that my Visa application with tracking ID xxxxxx has been dispatched to OC from VAC for processing. Any idea what that means?

i completed the biometrics but the status under the GC key does not show that it is received.

Yes. they update it in your gckey account. on the part where appears the name of the PA, the application number and the client number they add the biometric number and the date on which the PA presented them.

Putting 3 worked for me. Idk it’s weird but it worked
