Proof Of Funds

Hello, I was wondering why document checklist require me to upload proof of funds even though I am applying through CEC. I mean I dont have problem uploading docs but was just wondering.

Instead of uploading proof of funds, I just attached a PDF stating that I am exempt from this requirement because I am CEC. No issue, I received my PPR on Nov 4.
