Your qualifications will not be recognized in Canada. There is no BSc in anesthesia. If you have gone through medical school and have done your residency training to be an anesthesiologist you would have to qualify to immigrate and then take 2 exams to prove that you have the same knowledge and abilities than Canadian medical graduates. You will then have to redo a 5 year residency. The only issue is that most of the spots are taken by Canadian medical graduates so there maybe no anesthesia residency spots available or you could be competing with many other international medical school graduates for a few spots ). Becoming a physician in Canada is going to be very difficult and expensive. Most IMGs go back to school to study something else or have enough experience to move into another career.

All Canadian anaesthetists are full MD's with years of extra training after their medical degree. It is extremely hard for an international student to become a Doctor in Canada as the result of a lack of spaces in residency. There are assistant positions but you must have a B.Sc. minimum.
