Hello, I still haven't got the AOR for parents PR application. I am worried if my application was missed somehow or are there people like me who haven't got their AOR?

Application office: CPCMississauga
Invite: April 27th
Application sent: June 20th
AOR: not received

Thanks.
Looks like no one else got AOR who sent application around June 20, so you should not worry. Check out the spreadsheet.

Sometime AOR can be lost in the Spam /Junk folder of email which gets deleted automatically in 30 days for most of the email services. So make sure to keep checking out the Spam folder from time to time also.

Yes, file numbers start with F000..... . Yes in the past I have seen few cases where Applicants did not receive AOR email but when they contacted IRCC then they got File number. Sometime AOR can be lost in the Spam /Junk folder of email which gets deleted automatically in 30 days for most of the email services. So make sure to keep checking out the Spam folder from time to time also.

Hi. Can you tell me if parents are here in Canada for over a year do they have to do the RCMP check or did IRCC send you a special request to get this done?

Yes- my parents are here since 2015. If you read all my posts here (will not be too many), you will have little bit more comfort as to how they process the application when parents are in Canada. For RCMP- they will send you separate instructions to get those done and will include a form for each applicant.

Hi guys, I would really appreciate if someone can please help me with the following query. I just recieved an email asking me to submit the following document:

Copy of sponsor’s Birth certificate [Punjabi version] with certified English translation

I'm currently in Canada and my original birth certificate is indeed in Punjabi. Where can I get the Indian birth certificate translated? Do I have to go through BLS? Moreover, does the document needs to be notarized as well?
Please advise.
no need to go to BLS. Just go to a legit translator and get it done. They will put their stamp on it, similar to notarizing. We got it done and had no issues. They will charge around $40-$50.

Hi,

I am not sure if you record this progress. I just received an email from Manila office requesting additional medical test, but there is no attachment or test details. Only mentioned that my parents need to print out the email and visit the Panel Physician again.

The email is as below:
__________________________________________________________
Dear applicant,

Your immigration medical examination result has been received and in order to complete the assessment additional information is required.

Please print out a copy of this message and present it to the panel physician who did your initial immigration medical examination. In exceptional situations, you may utilize the services of another panel physician used for Canadian immigration examinations (http://www.cic.gc.ca/pp-md/pp-list.aspx). Exceptional circumstances include: moving to a new location making it difficult to visit the original panel physician, or the original panel physician is no longer available.

You have 60 days from the date of this letter to comply with this request.

My parents have provided biometrics and medical exam, how do i know if these have passed?
You won't know unless there is anything wrong with medical. The doctor send reports to IRCC only. Doctor won't contact u. You will get to know from the status if IRCC have received the results.

This email tells there is something additional which your parents need to do for medical exams. They will get to know from the doctor. Sometimes applicants need additional screening if there is any abnormality in the medical report.
