Marriage using TRV

Hi, I'm a Filipina. I have a boyfriend in Canada. Our main goal is to be together but as I'm searching online I have found two options which is first, to marry here in the Philippines and he'll sponsor me for a year. The latter would be a great choice. But I have gathered some ideas too. Is it possible for us to get married in Canada while I only have TRV?

Yes of course, you would need to get a trv first which could be hard. You would need to show that you are a genuine visitor and will return to your country after. It can be hard to prove for spouses/gf/bf because often the end goal is to move to Canada permanently. If you state your purpose is to get married here you will likely get refused.
But if you do manage to get a trv and then decide to get married in Canada after that is fine.
