My husband is applying from the US. I received my DM as a sponsor. We have completed the medical/biometrics. His file was transferred to the New York office. Is this normal? I thought the file transfers were usually within Canada. Does this mean they are doing additional screening?

My file got transfer to ndvo on 22nd oct. I applied on june 13th. But no status change in Ecas. Still same about medical exam.
Do you get any email from embassy regarding AOR2 or just change in status shown?

Hello everyone!
Yesterday I received my PPR, which is a good thing? (They received my app. Aug 6). I and my Canadian spouse live in Bermuda at the moment. All the addresses we've used for the application are for Bermuda. As a bermudian I only need to send photos and passport photocopies.

I guess my question is will they send everything back to me here in bermuda? Or do I need to provide a Canada address? In the letter it says it doesn't send passports outside of North America, but I'm also not sending my passport.

Should I be sending it to the visa office for Bermuda (which is actually in New York)


We've gotten this far, I just don't want to mess up! Anyone else applied outside of Canada/US in this situation?Any help would be great! I posted this in the August forum, but many hadn't gotten their PPR yet. Also, does PPR essentially mean your application has been approved?

Hi, I'm a Canadian Citizen living in New Zealand with my husband. I submitted an application to Sponsor my husband (from New Zealand) Outland June 2019. We met while travelling in Central America in 2015 and have both spent a significant time in Honduras travelling and taking Scuba Diving courses (on visitor visas - we spent 3 months at a time on visas, left the country and re-entered. We both did this for over 18 months).

I have received an email requesting a Honduras Police Certificate (for my partner), and completion of "Travel History Info Form" (Information on your previous travel history (trip duration and purpose) including citizenship and resident document information) as well as a copy of our Marriage Certificate (which I submitted with my original application already).

I guess my question is has anyone had a similar experience, or any advise on how to obtain a Police Certificate Overseas (Honduras)?
The letter I received said documents must be received by 2019-12-30. I think it will be very difficult to submit the Police Certificate by then so I may need to contact someone to get an extension.

Should extra documents be sent by mail? I saw an option on my online account to submit additional documents online but it wouldn't allow me to.

Any advise appreciated
