Score Increase with LMIA and Work Experience

Hi Experts,

Just have a query. I was doing evaluation on the CRS calculator tool. I am software engineer from India and have masters degree. Age 33. After evaluation my CRS was round about 367 which i know very less. I'll accompany with my wife, she also holds masters degree.

IELTS SELF - L7 R7 W6.5 S6.5 IELTS Spouse - L6 R6 W6 S6

But when I updated this with LMIA (Under Global Talent Stream) + 1 year Canadian experience, it increased to 502. Is this right calculation from my side?

Increase your IELTS score to LRWS as 8777 and your score will increase significantly ( around 440)

You need to improve your IELTS scores to at least 8 L and 7 rest. Also, make sure you get your education evaluated. Masters degrees from India may not be equivalent to Canadian Masters.

LMIA and Canadian experience will of course increase your score a lot. But LMIA is very difficult to get.

By the way do you have knowledge, If I will get LMIA along with 2 year closed work permit, then after 1 year, shall I be able to add LMIA + Canadian experience score in my EE profile. Say 50 + 70 approx.
