I kindly need advice my ielts (on the first and only try) are listening 9, reading 7, writing 7.5, speaking 8. Overall 8. my crs is 461. The reading let me down but if i am to redo to get the highest score (8.0-9.0) like in the other modules, my score can rise by 3 points to 464. Of course getting the 3 points isn't guaranteed and ielts isn't exactly cheap....help! What would you do? i am not confident to redo them plus the next registration dates are for early decemeber....

Personally, I wouldn't redo it. As you said, IELTS isn't cheap. 3 points isn't worth redoing the exam over. I think you should sit tight at 461. If you don't receive ITA in Dec then January for sure. Once the score drops to 464, it should take one or two draws to drop to 461. Early next year, the PNPs should not be having the effect its 's having currently. And you never know, you could redo it and get 9 in reading and suddenly your WS drop to 7. You would be in the same predicament then.

@ItheLord What about 458? In my 6th IELTS attempt I managed to score L: 8.5 , R: 7.5, S: 7.5 W: 7. Before that i always used to get 6.5 in writing. I even got a 9 in reading once. So if I give IELTS again and manage to get 8 in reading with the same scores above, my CRS will be 461. But i don't know if i could get a 7 again in writing.

I was looking in this thread , people even above 460 are also paranoid. Guys calm down and wait. Don’t stress too much

I’m expecting 3 draws in November and 2 in December. And the crs score will come down to 455 by the end of December.

You are one of the most outrageously optimistic candidate I have come across in this thread, and I am loving it on behalf of all the people stuck in late 450’s and early 460’s. This is how we all should keep our calm

Lets assume that 4-5 draws happen before Christmas and score comes down to 460. What is PNP slows down and they reduce ITA to 3300 again, What can he effect on CRS can it go up due to reduced ITA or go slowly down due to less PNP.

PLEASE STOP WORRYING IF YOU HAVE A SCORE OF 465+ you'll most likely get through next round. such people are the ones causing anxiety!!
