Hi, everyone!

If a person takes an unpaid leave before having worked for 12 months continuously, after they return from a vacation are they:
1. eligible to apply after they make up for the weeks of absence if they bring the count of their full-time work weeks in a single 2-year period to 52?
2. are not eligible to apply anymore and their work time is zeroed so they have to work for one more year before they apply?

Thank you.

Were you still employed with the same employer during your unpaid leave and if your reference letter includes those unpaid leaves in the duration of your tenure with the company, it will be considered that you were still employed and be valid work experience for EE.

Yes, I plan to be employed with the same employer. However, if this person leaves the country of employment on an unpaid leave would not that raise suspicions as per the continuity of employment?
