Hi everyone,
Please help.. i applied my PR through Express entry on 1st Feb 2019 and received the AOR on same day.. Today is 1st Nov and i am still waiting for my PPR. Is anyone here in same situation waiting for PR conformation from more than 9months...
Reply please..
Regards.
Mine is same as yours.

AOR : 1st Feb, 2019
Category : CEC Inland
Eligibility: In que for review by an officer
Criminality: In Progress
Security: Not started
Visa Office : Montreal

Last called CIC : 1st Nov, 2019 - Says the status is the same and we have to wait.

However I have ordered GCMS notes on 1st October, 2019 and raised a Web Enquiry on 29th Oct, 2019 to trigger the application as have read somewhere that it helps to get an update but waiting to get response for both.

You can try the same.

All the best.

There is a light at the end of the tunnel hopefully!

That last sentence is the only inspiration I have behind this move. Otherwise I would never move to Canada. Somehow there is nothing in that country (or Continent) that excites. For me its just another experience and a stop over before I move to my next destination. I will keep moving as long as I can. But from my experience in living in four different countries so far (one among them is notoriously famous for being hostile to immigrants) and dong all sorts of jobs with out any issues, I can say with all confidence that life is not a walk in the park any where in the world.
So true. I've moved 2 times and both times, the first 2 years were incredibly hard. I don't expect any different for this 3rd move and I'm mentally prepared for the idea of restarting all over again but it's not about now, it's about 3-5 years from now that keeps me motivated.

I am not looking at the now either. I know no one will be waiting for me at the airport with the opportunity of a lifetime. There is only on reason I have to move there, and I am already working on it for the last few months. Hopefully I can start soon and get there with in 4-5 years. If it happens then it will be time for new adventures.

Cultural shock played a huge part in my last move. I couldn't even find a familiar face. At least that won't be an issue there. I have friends in there who have been living there for years and yet to become friends with some one from Canada of other part of the world. Another one's class is full of people from her own state in India. So, there will be plenty of familiar faces. But that is going to be a challenge for me. I will be really depressed if I can't meet new people in a different country and have to live with people from my own background. For now this looks my biggest challenge.

Yes we are all all waiting for PPR. You are not alone. I know that is frustrating but none of us has the answer for this delay. If you haven’t done so, please order GCMS notes to know the status of your eligibility. Call IRCC or raise a CSE. That is all you can do besides waiting. If you live in Canada, you can also reach your MP to know the status of your file. I wish you the best.
Thanks dear for information yes now ordering gcms notes.. will update all if some positive update comes

Hello guys,

I'm perhaps in a unique situation and need some help-

Feb 06 AOR
Saw no updates for the longest time but had my medical "passed"( uploaded the emedical recepit of my upfront medical),
BG in processing and other usual updates.

Got a ghost update recently so I thought it might finally be for ppr but I actually got a medical request ( IMM-1017E).

My medical is still valid until Jan 2020, it was already passed so I'm really confused what this about now. I had emailed sydney office about my application and they told me its in queue for final review. So now having a medical request seems weird to me - how does an application go from final review to medical? Is a second medical request normal?
Very similar situation! Medicals expiring in less than 90days so they asked my wife n daughter to redo it. Now waiting for ircc to respond, have taken the exam again.
Aor feb 10, all done waiting for final review as per call center agent. did u get ur medicals?

Yes I just got me 2nd medical done today- clinic said its gonna take 7-10 days to submit. Another week or so for IRCC to update I guess.
Honestly, I'm not anticipating any good news anytime soon- been almost 9 months already since AOR.

And they did not ask you to do your meds again?? it’s really weird ircc asked for remeds of my wife and kid only, I did mine a month later than them, I am afraid that they will wait some time and then tell me to get my meds done as well. Which will delay the process further it’s already 9 months of waiting

No, they haven't. They're extending the medicals for some applicants. I'm not sure on what basis they're asking for a re-medical or extending the existing medicals.

Oh okay so they are extending the medicals for some people, that makes sense. What is your file stuck at? Just final review from the officer?
