Hi,

I got my PR application approved and the visa got stamped on my passport.

I heard that I should get my PR card in ~ 45 days.

I wonder if now I am considered as a PR person. For example, if I go to change my SIN to get a new one that doesn't start with the number 9, is it enough to show the visa on my passport? Or I should wait till I get my PR card?

Same thing for my bank accounts, some stuff require that I hold PR, showing my passport visa is enough?

Thank you

No - you are not a PR. You have to complete landing formalities before you will be a PR.

Which are?

Btw I'm an inland applicant.
Either make an appointment with IRCC via the IRCC’s Call Centre or Webform. Alternatively, depending on where you are, perform the "flagpole" procedure at a nearby land border crossing.
