When Can One Apply For a Bridging Visa?

Hello,

I think this question has been answered, but I'm admittedly not familiar with many of the acronyms used so I am hoping to confirm:

An employee of mine has applied for PR and is in the selection pool, but HAS NOT been selected out of the pool yet.

Am I correct in understanding that you cannot apply for the Bridging Visa until selected from the pool?

Yes - you are correct. A bridging visa is only available once you have been selected out of the pool, have ITA and have submitted a complete application.

Yes and you need to submit the Acknowledgement of Receipt and number, which you receive once you have submitted your documents for PR (after receiving an Invitation to Apply)
