Most sponsorships take about a year. You have received notice of a transfer to a visa office meaning it's still in process.

As k.h.p. said twice, Spousal Sponsorship is generally a 12 month process. Some are lucky and completed in 5 months, most in a year, and others take up to 14 or 16 months and sometimes longer.

You are very fortunate to have had your file transferred to the local visa office in 5 months! It took our file 9 full months before transfer and we still don't have an AOR2 to show that they are working on it yet.

Our one year anniversary will be Jan. 4th, 2020 and I don't expect we will be finished until about March. So, just hang in there ... it takes a lot of waiting.

This means the primary officer suggested an interview requires to determine your eligibility.

And what is a due date ? Which is 17 aug 2020 ?
& what is a difference between recmended and required interview bcz
One
Of my frd recieve
Required and i got recommended ?

Due date is when they will next look at your file. That date isn't terribly important because the officers will indefinitely keep pushing it back.

Considering that you were originally scheduled an interview, but then it got cancelled for them to reschedule, it is likely they are still planning on interviewing you.

However, I did see another post on this forum in a case where they received their notes and saw that they were recommended for interview, and the reasons why, though an interview had not been requested yet. They gathered documents and proofs to satisfy the reasons for recommending interview, and they pre-emptively sent these proofs into the the visa office before an interview was even requested. Many months later, they were approved with no interview.

It may not work in your case, but given that you will have to gather evidence in preparation for an interview anyways, you might as well carefully look at all the reasons that they're recommending interview for you and gather evidence to satisfy them. If you gather all that evidence and they still haven't requested that you come in for an interview yet, send in all the evidence to them and wait and see what happens.

With pandemic delays, it looks like it may be many months before you receive any response. It isn't fun, but we unfortunately all have to just sit tight and wait... Judging by your first post, it sounds like you are also a May 2019 Outland applicant, same as my husband and I. My husband and I haven't even been given our notes for our case despite requesting it, so at least you got a response there that we could not.

From day one , i knw my interview will come for sure , bcz in 2012 , i applied for student visa but bcz of some stupid agent i got refusal and banned for 2 years ! So i wont allow to entered canada till 2014 ! I was banned ! Might be this is a reason otherwise our case was cleared !
