The process is really easy. I went to the commissionaires office just 4 mins walk from my place. No appointment was required and i was free in 10 mins. We just need to take the print out of the email or letter received from CIC and agency takes care of the rest. Digital fingerprints were sent to RCMP and results will be sent by RCMP directly to the processing office(scarborough), although my processing office is Hamilton.

Can somebody please confirm all 20 questions in test are multiple choice, and best resource to prepare from?

I have already read Discover Canada book.

For most people "just read" is not enough.
I'm straggling with dates.
1.There are a lots of free apps for your phone with tests. I have 3 on my phone right now.

2. https://www.citizenshipsupport.ca/free-simulation-test/
not a bad test but very limited questions.

Hello!

Nothing follows

So a lot of folks asking about finger prints hence sharing my experience , take a print out of email received from CIC/IRCC , go to your nearest RCMP Accredited agency along with atleast two photo ids and one address proof , the agency wiill verifiy the information take your fingerprints and digitally transfer it to RCMPs database in couple of hours . RCMP then may take 3 to 5 days to reveiw chek their Databases and sends the Results , if you sign an authorization form authorizing RCMP to send the results of thje finger prints directly to the IRCC processing office they mail the results to the office , the office recieves the mail in 5 to 7 days , post depends on when your office opens the results and attaches it to your file , after your complete the process from your end , you can do the following steps 1 Call RCMP and they will provide an email confirmation if requested on what date they send the results to IRCC , 2 then after a week or two you can call IRCC and the agent should be able to confirm if the results were received by your processing office , But after that all you have to do is to wait for the Test invite .....

with atleast two photo ids and one address proof

Must have FP request form from IRCC, that paper which you received with FP request.

So, in my case: PR card (UCI#), DL and FP request form (they need address of your IRCC office)

I don't know how you get it with just 2 pieces of ID, how will they know where to send results?

Better don't confuse people and give them wrong info.

I took the letter from CIC and 2 id’s. one of the id’s was my passport and other one was the driving licence. The CIC office where RCMP needs to send my results is mentioned in the letter.

That is exactly what I mean. You MUST have that letter from CIC. Author of instructions never mentioned it.

I think he/she said exactly that.
