Hi all,

I sent in my complete application on April 26 (hurray!), and now it's the waiting game. I just read that police reports have to be uploaded in colour, but what I received from the FBI was in black and white. Is there a chance my application could be rejected on this basis? Is it worth raising a CSE?

Grateful for any input or shared experiences, and good luck to all who've sent in their apps!

How come FBI didnt give you PC in color??

They issue only in B & W for everyone. It's the format! But they have some reference number in the letter and CIC can cross check the authenticity if they wish.

So, what are you planning to raise as CSE? Explanation for the obvious?! :)

I could do without the snark. "Obvious" has a different meaning when government agencies are involved, as I'm sure we're all well aware. What I could mention is that I didn't make a mistake sending a black and white copy; I simply sent what I had.

You'd have to ask the FBI that. It's the 2nd report I received from the FBI (the other one wasn't valid anymore since I'd traveled to the US again before I could use it), and both were in black and white.

Well then this shouldnt be a problem for him.

It's up to you for your peace of mind! I have submitted only black and white one without any explanations! Many have done that too!

Its fine.

Thanks for the responses, all. You can only send what you have, and I think I'm just experiencing post-AOR jitters.

Fingers crossed for all of us! :)

FBI issues certificates in b/w only. Don't worry. Scan it in color anyway.

hi
Sorry to disturb you. My PCC original is lost. I have scan of it in office and i now don't recall if there was any color in the original or not. Can you please help me out by checking your PCC. Mine was issued in Jan2019 and delivered to some address in USA NJ.

it appears they issue and have a watermark too in BnW ones. Some of them don't have watermark and some are colored as well. So am confused. If anyone has PCC issued around Jan2019 time by postal method than please do share.
thanks
