Hi everyone, I just got his in the email today. What is this? Is this the PCC request? It also asks me to pay the RPRF fees but I already paid when we submitted the application. Did anyone else receive this?

Is the PCC required for the countries lived for more than 6 months in for the past 10 years or since 18? The letter doesn't specify any time frame. So would it be for any country they have ever lived in?

That would be my guess, my dad stayed in Iran for work in 1970, I think he would be required to submit a clearance

Is there anyone whose file was transferred to Mississauga but the parents are not living in Canada? the letter attached to the email from CIC say

"
You have met the requirements for eligibility as a sponsor. Accordingly, the Application for Permanent
Residence for your relative will be processed at CPC-Mississauga. This office was selected based on
your relative’s home address and the requirements of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act."

but my parents home address as I indicated on IMM0008 is outside of Canada.

Do I need to investigate why it went to Mississauga? Or they just send some to Mississauga even though they don't live in Canada.

From previous posts that I read in this forum, even if your parents stayed here in Canada for more than 6 months, you are not required to submit PCC from Canada.

Please correct me if I am wrong.

Thanks!
