How long do PCC from India and the US take?

I was just looking at the PCC process and was wondering how long it takes and are 2 months sufficient after ITA to get these documents (India and the US).

US is pretty quick. Less than 3 days once they receive your fingerprints. Some people have even reported having received within few hours or next day.

India PCC can be same day or more than 2 months depending on whether embassy / consulate folks find your details in their "System" when you go and apply for PCC.

US PCC can take from few hours to a few days.

Indian PCC can take anywhere between 2 hours to 30 days, depending whether you need a physical police verification or not. In case you require a physical police check, a request is sent to the local police station from where they take around 10 days to process your verification, after that you'll get an SMS from the PCC to come and collect your PCC, which can take another 10 days. In case you do not require a physical police check, the PCC hands over the PCC to you in just 1 or 2 hours of waiting.

if your address in the passport is the same as the current address and if you are applying through the passport seva kendra, you will get it immediately or else there will be a physical verification
