Could be , usually they send en email that state that the Sponsor has been accepted on his sidefor the application. which is (SA)

u can see the status on gckey n ecas both or u can send an inquiry through webform or call cic but if u r not the representativrefor principal applicant they wont give out any info regarding ur PA file
 
My wife gave bio metric 1 month ago but still have not received request for medical. But I see here people are getting bio metric request the next day or within 1 week after receiving request for bio metric. I am the sponsor in canda. My wife live out side of canada being sponsored.

What to do?

what is your timeline?
From what I've noticed so far the average medical requests comes about 5 months after application was received. But every case is different.
 
I sent my application in the month of February 2019. Done with biometrics and medicals. Received pre arrival mail on Aug 27 and decision made on the same day. Didn't receive Ppr yet and it's been a month. How long I have to wait? Or dhsll I write a mail to IRCC?

i guess it depends , none application are worked the same way. There's not really an established statement, some agents do super fast some are more slower.
