Hi, Please advise if anyone with NOC 2171 has got notification and nomination from Alberta. If you can share timelines also then that would be helpful.

Hi Guys,

My Timeline is as under
CRS Score: 422
NOC: 1221
Documents reached: 7th August 2019
File Number received: 6th September 2019
Requested for additional Documents: 12th & 17th September 2019 ( I was first asked to confirm my EE profile no. and in the next mail was asked to submit my documents of proof of employment like Pay slips, Offer letter, Bank Statements, Tax Returns)

Note: I have not been to Canada ever.

If there is someone who has gone through this similar process, please reply and inform what would happen next?

Hello Everyone,

Do check your NOCs on https://alis.alberta.ca/occinfo/occupations-in-alberta/occupations-in-demand/ to get an Idea which skill sets are in demand based on their preferences (high, mid, low). You will get an Idea whether there is any chance to receive NOI with CRS less than 400.
To illustrate this, a person having NOC 6321 (CHEF) has great chance of getting a NOI with lower CRS score ~320 than an individual with higher CRS 380 with NOC 2172 (Database analyst), which is low in demand as compared to current market trends in Alberta.

I hope this will help everyone to understand how the process of getting nominated under AINP actually works.
Thanks for this info. I know no one really knows but I have the NOC 2172 that you quoted here as being low in demand. Do you think my chances are still unlikely even if I have a 'relatively high' CRS of 444? I'm hoping my higher CRS will offset the fact that my profession isn't very sought after currently.

Thanks.

Mine: 441; profile: 19th Sep (No ties to AB)

what do u think... we get any NOI?

I've no idea when is the next draw...

I also have a job currently in AB (I'm on a IEC working holiday open work visa). But I honestly have no idea if we have a chance of getting a NOI. AB really is a closed book when it comes to who they are accepting or not. I was hoping that maybe there would be some information on here from someone who is the same or similar NOC who has received an NOI from AB but I'm yet to hear of one.

Apart from those that received NOI under NOC 0621 on April 15th has anyone else with this NOC 0621 receive NOI since then?

Please respond for research purposes. I constantly see NOC 1221 and 1241 as the most in demand even if their government website states transport truck drivers and Retail managers as number 1 and 2 in demand.
