very normal for Pakistani applicants.
next step is file transfer to LVO which I believe is happening for December applicants these days. Patience and wait is only what you can do here my friend.

Thanks for your reply...you are right its all about being patience......as they say "THIS SHALL PASS TOO"....the important thing is building your relationship with each other as a married couple....you know I have been patience a lot but this hot weather making me sick in Pakistan....i'm staying here with my husband so finally we can travel together.

I hope this shows that we are serious about our relationship?

Should I get new pictures taken or just cut out the grey borders? LOL

the photos meet all other specifications and are against white background but just have grey borders
Borders shouldn't be an issue, leave it to you to take any chances though. do however make sure that they are stamped by the photographer.

So I tried to fill in the Appendix A Updated information chart by converting it to word, filling it in and converting it back to pdf. I messed the barcode at the end of the process so should i just handwrite the info lol
don't convert it. fill it with handwriting

You don't convert it to word. It should be fillable PDF and if not just hand write it.

no actually it does the opposite for u if u r staying with applicant until he gets his PR they want to see ur ties to canada n if u will return to canada once ur spouse gets visa so they mostly ask for procedural fariness letter n u have to submit proof abt ur plan n show them y u will move to canada my frnd stayed for 9 months to a year back in 2015 they even had a daughter n so i hope u have sme solid proof. she showed a letter from her parents n frnds n she explained y she was living in pk she was sick n had a disease n needed someone to look after her

Why don't they have a fixed time frame? Why do they just don't speed up this whole process of spouse visa? . Why can't this be as fast as Express entry draws?

well its not true in every case...I have been travelling back n' forth....not living continuously in Pakistan only..i was born and raised in Canada. it will always be my home country....as you said its very important to show your connections but also your relationship in spousal immigration is crucial.

I hope eventually i'll go home soon and reunite my whole family together with my husband. InshaAllah.

Thanks for the feedback :)

Indians and all the other nationalities get their spouse visa so quickly. I don’t know why do they only delay our cases!
some do, but majority waits around a year...

no this year most indians r getting visas in 3 months
Lucky them :) I feel a bit envy to them since I am in process for 10 months already... Hope not more than 1 year for us and not a refusal...

Assalam o alaikum everyone.

I am new to the group and FEBRUARY 2019 applicant. I have not recieved anything after medical and biometric request in april 2019 and there is nothing new on the ECAS too. Any February applicants who recieved AOR 2 from london visa office?

W/S. Based on the statistics on this forum, it looks like December 2018 applicants are being transferred right now. I also saw one early January applicant. So in your case, Insh'Allah in the next month or so?
