Yes, I've asked them through email. And I've already sent another one asking them about the 30 day period for visa stamping. However, it took them 11 days to respond to my first inquiry, so I'm really worried that if they take another 2 weeks to reply and it turns out that I needed to submit my passport before the expiration of the 30 days regardless of the new medical check, then my 30 days would be over by then and I will have no time left to submit the passport.
I believe medicals are extended mostly for INLAND applicants. You should've done your remedicals as soon as they told you to and updated them if you have done it. I'm sure they would give you instructions on what to do next after your update i.e. submission of your passport for visa stamping. I read somewhere that they give extensions on passport submissions if you request and if there's a compelling reason behind it.

Good luck! Hope it works out for you.. :) Congrats on your PPR..

They refused my withdrawal request because my application is awaiting final review by the case officer. So I honestly, do not know if that means my application has been approved or not. 'Awaiting final review' has been my status since May 9, 2019 and I have completed 4 months as of today.

They even refused my visa office transfer request in July 14, 2019 because of program integrity. I was later told by the call centre agent that since my case was already awaiting decision pending officer's final review, my request was denied because such transfers could delay applications by two months. Funny thing is, I will be completing two months this week.

My medical is expiring on October 16, 2019 and I haven't logged into my CIC account since July 26, 2019.
I have followed your journey. Just want to say, hang in there. The wait is indeed painful and frustrating to say the least, but don’t lose hope. I know it’s easier said than done but im kind of hopeful that you’d hear the good news soon.

AOR 30th November. No movement in file since jan 9th when I passed medicals. Last day with my previous employer was 31st May since I was expecting PR by 30th May. Travelled around the world for 3 months. And now joining another Organization next week. Totally given up on hearing from IRCC.
I know it’s easier said than done, but we just need to forget that we even applied for it and move on with our life.

I woke up to an email which said I have an update in my account and found this beautiful message :)

Hello,

Thank you for your interest in Canada.

Our office is processing a high volume of applications. Having noted this, the application is in queue to be assigned to an officer soon. Our goal is to process 80% of the applications received within a 6 month time frame, however some applications fall outside of the 6 month processing time due to various reasons. Please rest assured that the application is being processed, and an officer will request additional documentation should they be required.

The best regards,

JC18393

Did you get this message in your CIC account? If yes, then this is as good as a ghost update. I have not heard of anyone getting such a message in their CIC account. Maybe somebody picked up your file and updated something in the internal system.

It's a template! They say the same thing again and again. Why can't they just stop making draws and finish all backlogs first?:(:(:( Then once they finish everything, start making draws again so that there won't be any unlucky 20% that would exceed the 6 mos processing time.

I understand that it's a template. But it has come in your CIC account. As per my understanding, any message/update in the CIC account only happens when some work has been done on your file. For example, I got the 'How to find a job in Canada' mail in December 2018 and my eligibility was marked as 'met' on the same day. I guess the case processing agent felt that the file will be cleared very soon and wanted me to prepare for my life in Canada. :P

How is this good news? They have been sending this exact same message through email since May and now for a change have sent it through my CIC account just for fun.

Nothing is going to come of this scam process
