Hi All - we are family sponsorship from Cuba. My husband and son went to Trinidad to get their medicals on the 22nd of August. In ecas it shows the medicals received as of today. So for anyone who is in a similar situation, it took a little less than 2 weeks for the documentation to be received and acknowledged in the Mexico office.
This isn't to say that the medical are passed - just that they are received.

Thats perfectly fine. The registered Medical Practitioner does everything electronically. So the tests carried out by the doctor as well the blood work and X-rays are forwarded to his office and uploaded on the Immigration's database. One thing though, I understand your family is from Cuba and had to make the visit to Trinidad but, if ever possible try to retrieve a copy of the medical reports from the doctors office. Not sure if they can email it to you, mail it to you or your husband might need to make another visit to Trinidad, but try and retrieve a copy.

I actually looked on ecas last night, and lo and behold the medicals are passed! So, very quickly after receiving them they were passed. We are elated. And now waiting for the next step, and praying that it isn't an interview - not because we aren't up for it, but just because it will be an expensive undertaking, again, back to Trinidad.

We received the email in July stating an interview is required. Our file was forwarded to POS but no email yet telling us it has arrived there. No interview date received yet.

Oh my.., I thought they would advise if an interview soon. But your interview request was since July and still no news as to when!
