Civil Case Against me

I was in USA for few years and now came back to India. A civil case was filed against me in USA few months after i left USA and came back to India. I am trying to resolve it as it was not my fault.

I am trying to immigrate to Canada thru Express Entry and would need FBI PCC. Will the open civil case show up on my certificate and impact my chances of Canada immigration? Please advise.

To my knowledge I don’t think civil cases will be reported to FBI and they will not appear on your FBI PCC. Only criminal cases will be reported to FBI.
