Hello,

I was unable to find the topic in a different thread so creating a new one. My parents were successful in obtaining a visitor visa earlier this year. They haven't visited me yet but I now have a job and qualify for the min. income requirement for a Super Visa. I would like if they were able to stay longer than 6 months at a stretch and am now considering having them apply for a Super visa.

If they do apply for a super visa, what happens to the visitor visa in both scenarios, .i.e. approval and rejection?

My main concern here is if they apply for a super visa and for whatever reason it gets rejected, does their visit visa (TRV) get revoked?

Thanks in advance.

No, the TRV doesn't get revoked if the supervisa is refused.
