My family and I want to immigrate to Canada from America and was hoping we could get some advice and maybe some guidance.

I just finished out a contract job in Alaska where I served as Chief Engineer in training and want to further my career, I was looking at CAF to further this. I know as of up until recently we here in the states offered citizenship to those that were willing to go through our military programs. Does anyone know if this is a possibility for Canada?

I've also looked into industrial jobs with relocation packages, is this a good route to go down?

if anyone can assist me it would be greatly appreciated. I've been trying to get in contact with someone from immigration services and have had zero luck so far. I've also browsed the immigration website and can't really find the information I'm looking for.

Thank you everyone for your time.

Canada does not have a program that offers citizenship (or permanent residency) through the military.

Generally speaking, it's next to impossible to find employers willing to go through the process of hiring a foreign worker under a temporary work permit. If you wish to relocate to Canada, the most realistic option is to focus on qualifying and applying to immigrate (become a permanent resident) through an economic immigration program based on your level of education, work experience, age and other factors. You'll need to spend more time reading / researching. I would recommend that you start by researching the Express Entry program. It's a points based system and you currently need around 460 points to be selected from the pool for permanent residency:

CIC/IRCC does not offer advice for those looking to immigrate. If you want advice, you'll need to hire an immigration lawyer to assist you.
