Hello
I got approved for temporary visitor visa with 6 months validity
My question :
As i have applied a head of time, and plans is changing , if i enter canada during the visa validity but i need to leave after it expires , putting in mind that total stay will be 4 months (less than 6 months)
Will that be ok, and i wouldn't be considered overstay

TRV validity refers to the date by which you can enter Cananda. it is advisable to enter as early as possible before the expiry date. You maybe allowed to stay for upto 6 months if the CBSA does not stamp an exit date on your passport. If you leave Canada on or before the these applicable dates you are not overstaying.

That is considered overstaying. You follow what visa states.
This is wrong. The post that followed yours is correct. The CBSA officer dictates the length of stay, not the visa validity, which only refers to the dates when one is allowed to enter Canada.
