IQAS ECA timeline tracking

Hi guys,

Can we use the provisional degree (along with the transcripts) for IQAS evaluation?

Can you help me with a few questions- Do we need to send a copy of our Degree certificate in addition to the Transcripts sent by the University? I haven't received Degree and I have only the Provisional certificate. So will my Provisional certificate work?

Also, do we have to send the Bachelors Transcript or just sending Masters will work? The IQAS website mentions only the highest completed / awarded educational credential needs to be assessed.

Yes...You need to send your final degree certificate photocopy (including semester mark sheets) along with transcript. OR else you can upload mark sheets and final degree certificate in a combined pdf while submitting application on IQAS portal. I don't think provisional certificate is acceptable even if you have mark sheets.

No..if you have a master degree and you are claiming points for that only, then no need to get eca for bachelors degree. Even in CIC website its clearly written like so. In case if you doubt about getting masters equivalency for your pg, Then i suggest you to get eca for both and i think there is not that much difference in score if you get a double degree or masters. May be like 7 or 8 point difference..not sure. please calculate.

But in Status Reason Column it says “Waiting for Transcripts” for the last 15 days . I’m not sure why it is showing like that . Does any one faced this issue ? How long it will take them to process ?

April 15th - Signed application form delivered

No AOR1 / AOR2 yet. Hope it will be ' In line for processing' within 2-3 weeks

Received AOR1 & AOR2 on 10th Aug..
Now the status is 'In line for processing'...

What would be next stages?

Also, did IQAS ask for re-verification of your documents for Masters? WES does that, so just wanted to know if IQAS has the same requirement.

I guess your from nigeria. Well i sent only my university 5 years LL.B i didnt send my lawschool certificate and others i spoke with that got evaluated from iqas used only their university degree. I think its when you are using wes that you need to include your law school certificate and transcript. Iqas evaluates just your university law degree as a professional certificate which is equal to a masters evaluation.
