Experience after ita

So I just received my ita today. Had a query. My experience will be 3 years on sept 16 but the crs calculator gave me the score for the full 3 years.
So now should I get the experience letter immediately or should I wait until sept 16? Will this cause any issues with my application?

At the time of ITA you should already have the 3yrs experience. If at 2 years and some months your CRS score is higher than the lowest score invited today then you should be fine. Otherwise you may need to reject the ITA unfortunately.

According to the website the hours are 30 hours per week. Mine are 45 hours. So wouldn’t that put me over the edge? Or is it only calculated based on the date?

  • full-time at 1 job: 30 hours/week for 12 months = 1 year full time (1,560 hours)
  • equal amount in part-time: 15 hours/week for 24 months = 1 year full time (1,560 hours)
  • full-time at more than 1 job:30 hours/week for 12 months at more than 1 job = 1 year full time (1,560 hours)

For part-time work, you can work more or less than 15 hours/week as long as it adds up to 1,560 hours.

We don’t count any hours you work above 30 hours/week.

So even if you worked 45 hours a week it doesn't matter

It doesn’t matter when you get your experience letter as you have strayed away from the rule either way. Your points are not an accurate reflection when you received the ITA.

The most direct approach would be to reject your ITA but of course you wouldn’t do that. So submit your documents and hope the officer reviewing your application thinks of your actions as a minor infraction and doesn’t cancel your petition.

Please don't listen to these people with their half baked knowledge and decline your precious ITA. I can't believe that people simply ask anyone and everyone to reject ITA for no reason. What idiocracy!! Firstly folks, do some research. CIC has information regarding this situation.

Solution for your issue: Wait till Sept 16th ( so that you have completed your 3 years) and get your letter of reference after Sept 17 and submit your application after then.

Now there are people who had the same issue as you, and they were adviced the same BS advice given to you to reject and they didn't reject. They went thru and they got the PR. Here is the thread info:

Wow!!! what a piece of wrong advice. Have you even looked up the what the eligibility ruling states? Why would you pass misinformation so blatantly and with such confidence!!

Please do some real research before trying to destroy someone's life, the early point addition is a common occurance and many people have experienced that and the only rigid requirement is MEC ( Minimum Entry criteria), which is one year work experience. So when the adjucating officer looks at the application, they have to follow the procedures within their guidelines and this is what it states.

Under section A11.2, an officer may not issue a visa to an applicant who did not or does not meet the Express Entry minimum entry criteria (MEC) or did not or does not possess the qualifications for which they received their CRS score at the time when

• the invitation to apply (ITA) was issued; or
• the e-APR was received by IRCC.

Man what are you guiding him. He has worked for 45hrs a week. The calculator will calculate as per weeks and that's why it has taken as 3yrs.

Dude, you're good to go. It's perfectly fine. Remember, the job reference letter needs to have the same hours per week to what you've mentioned.

How has he stayed away from the rule? The rule says 30hrs a week = full-time job and he has 45hrs a week = not accurate? Wouldn't the extra 15hrs be counted towards his work experience?

Suppose your birthday is October 15th, 1989, so what's gunna be your age now? I'm sure you gunna calculate it as 30 but no........ It's 29 as per CIC.

Ok guys I see a lot of rebuke to my answer. I haven’t gone through all in detail but I apologize in advance if I dispensed wrong advise. I came to this forum with the best of intentions to help out and will double check the veracity of my answers before posting.
