Hi guys just asking your opinions
My CRS score is 458 right now with spouse and child.
If my wife give IELTS, there is chances of reaching 462-464.
But if I choose spouse not Accompanying score will reach to 467.
So my dilemma is which option I should choose? Losing 5 age points in dec 1st week

You should be fine before Dec I think. I would not choose the not accompanying option to get higher score if I were you. It's not worth leaving family behind for one year plus and complicated process afterward.
I think you can try (2) but it's your choice.

I’ve already booked IELTS for my spouse. Hopefully we could have 4-8 more points from it. 458 is already a good score by year end and I believe 462+ is quite safe.

And if that’s still not enough, we can always decide to change to spouse not accompanying 1 day before the targeted draw / before losing age points.

Same here, but I have to get ECA done for my spouse,just as to be on a safe side, that will add 8 point to our score before Nov.

Yes you may change it just a day before to get the ITA and in 24hrs the golden mail will be in your inbox.

Lemme put some light in it with no offense meant my dear friend. How you think you will convince the case officer and the visa officer that why you are not accompanying your spouse and children if you have? Ofcourse you're not gunna say that just because you wanted your CRS to be above the threshold, you're not accompanying your spouse........ knock knock, that'll be a red flag.

Now let's suppose, you come out with any reason apart from the above one, it'll be a fake one and they will get you in a jiffy.

And if above points mentioned, you get thru, you will sponsor your wife and children if you have, they will never be entitled for govt benefits.

So think before you exclude your spouse from the application as it sounds easy to get the ITA but mate, trust me on it, it's even harder to remove the RR forever from application for not accompanying your spouse.

Is one of the disadvantages of getting things done before needed...just relax bro u will get your ITA before it expires...I see Increase in ITA, even if the nxt cut off is high it will take few draw to bro g it down.whats your current CRS?

Hey does anybody know if police certificate will expire or not?
I lived in US for 3 years (2011-2014) in college and I have asked for the PCC from FBI on March 2019, I am not sure if this certificate will expire at anytime or never?
I am assuming the certificate is used to prove no criminal record during the three years back, it should not expire anytime, but just to be safe to ask... thanks for any reply!

The certificate for your country of residence should be less than 6 months old when you submit your application. You'll need to get a new certificate if you are not applying ASAP. All the best.

Yes. You need one from every country you lived in for 6 months or more since you turned 18 years old. US one takes a bit of time so get the process started as soon as you get your ITA.

The validity goes down to 6 months for a country you are currently residing in.

Sir, I was actually planning to go to halifax nova scotia... because a friend recommended (they stay there). Are you saying there is no job opportunities in that province?

I love Halifax and would love to live there. However, there aren't a lot of good jobs there. One major exception is medicine. There is currently demand for doctors and nurses in Nova Scotia. The cost of living in Nova Scotia is much lower than most of British Columbia or Ontario though.
