Waiting for DM and PPR...

I was asked for additional documents on July 1 and I provided them on July 2. It has been over a month, but the status is still "The documents have been uploaded", not even under review yet...Could somebody tell me what is going on...how much longer should I wait for PPR?

CIC asked me to provide Schedule A again, but I didn't leave any time gap in the previous one nor did any information updated or changed, not sure about the purpose. If they ask for any documents from you, that will probably slow down the application process, hopefully you don't have to do so...

If your wife was originally included in your application, it won't affect that much. Based on other cases, there is no significant difference in processing time comparing to single applicants. If you have passed all stages except for the security, I don't think it would be a problem that your wife is not in Canada currently unless there is a security issue.

Well i was married way before I applied for PNP so I did include my wife in PNP and then after I got PNP i applied to CIC so I hope they don’t ask for additional docs coz it will delay.
currently it is showing that “We don’t need any additional documents” I don’t know what will happen.

I just received RPRF this morning!
AR: November 01, 2018
AOR: January 30, 2019
MR: May 13, 2019
MP: June 13, 2019
RPRF: August 08, 2019
Biometrics: I had already submitted in Aug 2018 (for a work permit) so no need to redo.

How long do you think for PPR/CoPR?

Also, my current work permit expires on Aug 26, 2019. I think I should wait until last minute to apply for a BOWP right?

I think you should apply for work permit extention right away coz as soon as your this work permit expires your bank accounts, insurance and driving license will expire too which was big problem for my friend.. doesn’t matter when you get PPR but its good to have work permit on hand

This is not true, your bank account & driving licence are definitely valid. This is from MSP (BC Health Care) "Individuals who have been advised by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada that they have ‘implied status’ and are waiting to receive their renewed permit should contact HIBC once they receive their new documentation. Once received, continuous coverage may be provided if eligible and requested."

I am in Manitoba and my friends work permit expired he got calls from bank everyday for status updates and MPI which is insurance and license authority Suspended his license so he had to pay extra for 30 days validation and his health card was expired too so had to deal with them.. its overall lots of headache but upto particular person

.Hi there ,
Glad to know you got RPRF . But you have only few days left to expire your WP. Apply for your WP as soon as you can . Because of as current trend still nobody from sept AR got PPR, and you are NOV AR. Definitely you will got your PPR and WP almose same time. But do not putt yourself in trouble. keep your self on a valid status.
Decision is in your hands.
All the best .
