mistake in application form

I applied for my study permit application but i made a mistake in one of the questions in background information section .. i check option no in place of yes to question if i have ever stay beyond my status in canada . which actually was due to my hospitalisation in canada. for 14 days more than my status after which i return to my home country. i didn’t attend school or work during that period as i was hospitalised.
After i am fit to continue i reapplied for study permit i made mistake in answering the question.. but i have provided all the supporting medical documents for my extra stay as additional documents.

please let me know how can i rectify it..

Send them a Webform, but they might not read it in time. I strongly recommend you call them directly AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.

If they catch you lying in your application, not only will your application be rejected, but you will be banned for 5 years or more from coming to Canada.

have submitted web form stating correction to my answer just on 9th day after submission of my application with supporting documents.

You have done everything you can by using the web form and uploading the documents. Since you very quickly tried to correct your error and you have provided documentary evidence of a medical reason for overstaying, you should not get banned for misrepresentation.

Nothing else to do now, just wait patiently.

The web form is the right way to do this. You have already done that. Now you need to take a few deep breaths and relax. Nothing more you can do. If you want to call, you can try calling as well, but it was more important to use the web form.

The webform is the correct way of communicating an error. The VO will have this message at the time of reviewing your application. Just be patient and I pray that you have a positive decision.

Look, no one here can guarantee anything. In my opinion, what you did is not misrepresentation since you have made every effort to correct your error. However, I'm not the visa officer, and I'm not looking at your file. If this is the only error, it shouldn't be an issue. If there are other things that you have forgotten/omitted, it can be an issue.

There is no point in worrying and asking for positive responses. So what if I tell you that you are 100% guaranteed to be approved? You may still be denied and banned.

Again, you have done everything you could. Stop thinking about it now and go watch a movie or something. Good luck.

First off, is your application submitted online or paper ? One- If online, then upload the newly updated form after you have validated it. Two-If offline, then link your application then repeat method one.

if submitted my application online and also sent web form ... stating that i want to change my answer to yes to clarify i provided with supporting evidences ..and mentioned that it was a mistake to check answer no ..

Before the end of the week, you should get a feedback from them. Currently, today is Sunday, and there's holiday tomorrow, and it takes 3 to 5 days to get any response but be rest assured that, they will get the documents or information before the coming weekend.
