The first one is true I feel..coz they have have said in the passage two type of charges..and one charge is fixed and sent annually for maintainence, service pipes and so on.

Me also think so....

Practice is the only key..I use this trick, first check if any direction is given in the MAP, then i check the starting point, i dont read the questions at all and just keep jotting ALL the places as discussed in the map while listening and then at the time while noting it in the answer sheet i match it with questions..
i have used this trick only, but in the exam i missed the starting point only as my concentration was on previous question of section , i have answer but not sure if it is correct

No I m not planning to write from Hyderabad, All depends upon the results on 9th August

Which city are you opting for ( just incae you have to reappear ?)
Is there any value to the myth that taking the exam from a smal city has the scope of increasing the score ( wrt to speaking especially )

How many who have given 27th july gt ....have already made their mind to write the next ielts ? Anyone ?

I wrote on the 1st of August 2019, immediately after I wrote on the 27th of July and believe me it was pretty hard compared to the 27th of July.

Could anyone please suggest some tips and tricks to deal with maps

What I do is that within the half minute you have to review your answers in the previous section, I turn over to the maps, then I quickly study it. It always important to locate your starting point( you are here or entrance) , be aware of what is on your left and right (as you are seated looking at the map(they use your actual positioning most times and also north, east, west and south if provided). Then look at the questions and immediately start to visualize the possible locations, note street names and named of location already provide on the map, like kitchen, rest room etc, not also staircases, fountains, trees and note what is to their left and right on the map!. Try this and it will assist you anticipate the answers.

The last passage in the reading on the 1st August was complicated and out of this world compared to the passage on the Concorde on the 27th July that was a walk in the park.
